I bought a GE front load washing machine for close to $1000, and it ok as long as every piece of clothing is perfectly balanced during the spin... Which doesn't happen too often. I would say that 80% of the time, our clothes come out soaking wet. My old Kenmore for $400 did better than this. It looks like the springs that hold the drum are just too weak. I washed a small outdoor lawn blanket. Soaking wet, this thing is about 2 pounds... Maybe. The spin will not pick up at all. As soon as it starts... It slows back down to a tumble. Even at the tumble, it is usually too fast for the clothes to rebalance themselves. I truly cannot believe this went through QA and passed. So much for high efficiency when I have to dry soaking wet clothes... There goes our "cost savings."
