I bought a Car "Galant Vr-4" from a nice lady in conneticut, the car had a blown head gasket problem. I took the car to a neighbour shop performance parts to get engine Rebuilt and also do a some performance work rich the shop owner quoted us $4700.00 for the work, he gave me 1 year parts and labour warranty on the workmanship he did to my car, I paid him $1200.00 the First day and then the next day I paid him $3500.00 cash.
After 3 weeks we got the Car and I took it for a test drive the car was flashing engine oil sign on and off. I mentioned it to the owner he said its a minor electrical wire problem and he will fix it. I drove it back to longIsland and then i saw that the engine was leaking oil. I called rich he said it wasn't leaking oil before, may be its because the way we drove it and said that he is busy right now and will call me later to solve the problem. That day he did'nt call the next day he did'nt call, then i called him back but no answer i left him a message to call me back. No ans from him the same day. I called the next day same thing no ans, i did that for three straight days.
The Car is undriveable becuase its leaking oil. This time i called him from a different phone and he picks up. Then i tell him that you are not answering my phone calls or returning any messages from me and how we going to fix this problem, he said he can not do anything about it because it was the way the car was driven back. But i told him i only Drove it back from your shop to my house and at your shop it was flashing the oil sign on and off and i mentioned that thing to you. He said he can not do anything about it and that i am on my own.
Now he is not honouring the warranty and now the car is sitting out side my house, and i have no other car to drive for now. ALl the money i saved up is spent on this car which is not running. He has ripped me off by lying to me about the problem and the warranty which he offered me.
