I purchased a brand new 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe from Hyundai of Stamford and on the 9th day I had it, all 4 wheels locked up! Thank goodness I was only going 10 mi/hr. I was then informed that the car needed an entirely new transmission. It has been 1 1/2 weeks and I still don't have it back. Hyundai of Stamford was no help at all! They told me that they are not required to give me a loaner even though during the sales pitch I was lead to believe that this was a sure thing. Hyundai of Nanuet NY has been very nice But very slow. Even though the repairs are covered under the warranty, this seems very wrong.
