I took my car in for service on a Friday. I only needed the brakes worked on. They called back saying more needed to be done on the transmission or I would need a new transmission (scare tactics on a female) so I told them to do the work. This cost $600. The following Friday I was backing out of my driveway and the car would not shift out of reverse. It was like the shifter was just floating around in it's housing.
They refused to cover this. They say they did not touch that when they worked on my car. (so they say) however they supposedly inspected my car and didn't notice this was about to happen? More likely some guy knocked some something loose while working and covered it up until a week later it comes completely loose. Regardless, it cost us another $200. I recommend to fix your car. Although they also messed something up on my car, they stood by their work and fixed it at their expense.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. Plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
