I already have written one report on Bay transmission then I took the car to Stuart's Superior Transmission.
My car is a Taurus so it is a very common car. Stuart did a rebuild for 1600 dollars. The car thumps when it changes gears. It really thumps like I just ran over someone.
I took it back to Stuarts Superior Transmission. Stuart had it for two days and then worked on it. I picked it up and he said it had been fixed. It still is exactly the same as it was.
Took the car to three other transmission shops and all three agreed that I have a big problem. Took the car to a used car lot and asked the owner to give me an opinion. I figured he buys and sells a lot of cars so he should be able to spot a problem.
Used car guy drove the car and told me the transmission is so bad that I had to get it fixed or sell the car for salvage.
Stuart did a terrible job and he is not willing to fix his bad job. Do not be fooled by his nice guy routine.

Pensacola has lot of sleazy dishonest repair shops. The Navy base here gives them a constant supply of new victims. Pensacola has a nice climate, but a lot of sleazy maggots.
