I was parked in my assaigned parking spot in my apartment buliding over night with my parking decal displayed on my dash board. The next morning I awoke to find my car gone! I first assumed my car had been stolen, and lets face it that is truely what happened.
Then I called the towing company my condo uses and found they had towed my car from my spot claiming that they could not see my parking decal. When I went to the towing place to pick it up they told me I needed exact cash (no change is given), my liscence, and current registration (which I keep in my glove compartment.) They refused to let me look for it and told me I had to give them my keys and they would have to go in my glove compartment and get it. At this point they must of removed my current parking sticker and current registration and told me I need to go get a duplicate copy of my current registration which convienantly was not open until the next day, where as it would cost me more money to keep my car over night.
So not only do i feel I was illegally towed but also stolen from. How is it thet they are allowed to refuse me to look in my own car for my personal belongings??? Is this really leagal??
