On 02/02 I purchased a 2000 Chevy Tahoe from Donald's Auto sales for $1749.00 AS IS. I know that when you buy a used a car its going to have some problems. But I soon found out that it needs repair work on the engine and transmission. It need the ball joints replaced and some other issused that I was not aware of when I purchased the truck.
I contacted Donald's auto to tell them that problems and they told me that I purchased the truck AS IS and that it was my problem now. On 03/02 I took my truck to have an emissions test done on it and thats when I found out that my truck was ILLEGAL to own in the state of Georgia or any state that required you to have a passing emmissions test on your car, because it didn't have a cataylic convert and that it was missing O2 sensors. I was tolded by several different mechanic shops that it would cost more to repair my truck than what I paid for it.
Again I went back to Donald's Auto sales and showed them proof of my claim and again they said that it was my MY PROBLEM AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE ME A REFUND OR REPAIR MY TRUCK. I have not been able to drive my truck for a few weeks due to I can't afford they repairs and can't get my trruck registerd in the satate of Georgia because its and ILLEGAL vehicle. So now I am in the process of trying to sue them for a refund of all they money I have spent so far on my truck and other expenses.
