Inconvenience, poor customer service

On Saturday 4/14 the manager Alex Rodriguez (not that one, a different mexican) quoted my fiance' and I $522, then $532 to replace the water pump and timing belt on her car. First he wanted us to make an appointment for Monday, then
apparently decided he could use the $532 and said they'd have it done by the end of the day. Several hours later we got a phone call saying a tool they needed was broken and he would have to travel to Portland to get it, and I would be "doing him a big favor" if we could just let them finish it "first thing Monday morning". Of course it wasn't done first thing Monday morning, and of course he didn't want to give us a discount for the inconvenience of waiting longer. He lied to my fiance' and said I told him we didn't need the car until Monday anyways. So, we presented a $30 off coupon at payment, and
magically, the quote raised from $532 to $562! He said he had already applied a $30 coupon at the time of the quote, but didn't say a damn word when printing the quote. We only had $502 to our names to pay and he made a big deal of telling me fiance that "we got a great deal". That's total bullsh*t. We gave these guys a chance and they blew it. Beware of this Midas.
