King Transportation, LLC located in Mooresville, North Carolina is a fraudulant independant fleet whom leases their trucks from a corporation I will not name. They hook and bait you with a sign on bonus of $2000. They pay you for the first three weeks in increments of $400 weekly equaling $1200 because they claim the company you drive the loads for doesnt pay them until 3 weeks later. The 4th week you are supposed to get another increment of the bonus in the amount of $200 and week 79 you get the final $400 supposedly. Week 4 came and I received my check, they didnt give me the $200 bonus, nor a pay check for that matter. I drove close to 20k miles, the first real check I got less than $40!! When I asked for an explanation they do not pick up the phone. They give you some redneck who runs payroll and manages the company to speak with. He cannot even explain the payscale they have you set at. It took him 5 days to finally contact me back after I left my 2 week notice. He at that time mentioned they will be garnishing all future checks for reinbursement of the bonus. Not only did they garnish me for the bonus, they garnished my wages for all misc items, especially cash advances that exceeded their allowed limit! They never reinbursed the final check after speaking with the manager about that overgarnished wrong cash advance that he admitted to making a mistake! I receive my final check and they garnished an additional $700 stated as a bonus on the paystub along with over draw and other hidden fees not explained in their contract! When calling to explain this to the manager whom you can only get on a cell phone if lucky! He stated that its a leave of notice violation bonus charge, I gave my 2 weeks notice and they never documented it!!! Do not work for King Transportation LLC who is owned by Michael S King. They are fraud, what they do is illegal and they have done this to other drivers who are too scared to come out and say anything about whats going on in the trucking buisness!
