Eddie collected $325 for a service he never provided and failed to refund me before abruptly closing his business. I took two other vehicles to him and paid him an additional $675 within the same week and he would not provide receipts for parts purchased as proof that the repair was made when the vehicles were still running badly and other damage was now apparent to the vehicles.
Upon returning to the shop after his business ad cell numbers were disconnected, I glanced at the far wall where a printed sign stating something to the tune of, "The bittersweet memory of poor quality lingers long after the joy of low prices has gone." As if the injury of having $975 stolen from me wasn't enough this added insult to injury.
