Bruce Thompson, owner of Redbumper is in breach of contract with my company. He currently owes over $6,000 in commissions for selling his product and as much as $30,000 for an agreement and advertising we performed for the 2012 NADA convention in Las Vegas.
Mr. Thompson has a reputation of not doing what he says he will do as proven by his former company Lane Logic which folded and left auto dealerships nationwide to absorb the loss he created.
NADA - My company called every dealership registered for the NADA convention in Las Vegas to gather email addresses and dealer names. Mr Thompson paid $2700 for the initial services (a service that would normally cost upwards of $12,000). He also agreed to pay $50 per dealership that attended his webinar and commissions on any sales. My company performed our obligation at a loss with the understanding Mr. Thompson would pay as agreed.
I didn't hear from Mr. Thompson after NADA for over a week. After pleading with him to contact me, he wrote a short email stating they had 200 guests scheduled for each day of NADA but only a handful showed up. He also stated these were "walk-by's" which would mean he would not have to pay on anything as we agreed.
Part of our agreement is that Mr Thompson would be transparent with his contacts/contracts/webinars so that nothing could be hidden from our agreement. Mr Thompson has never provided a list of dealerships that attended his seminars at the NADA convention.
