First word of advice, do not bid on any item on auction from Sierra Auctions. Second, don't think they will work with you after you win. Third, don't expect transparency of fees they keep adding on to your bill needlessly.
I saw their auction online on ProxiBid. I saw on ProxiBid that their fee is 13%. That is wrong!!! When I was done, after paying for everything, was about 40%. And, I will go into general detail because they don't go into detail why they charge things. There are two charges called the same thing, Admin fees, of $330. Not just once, but twice.
Then, they charge you the 13%. Then, they will charge you sales tax, paper fees, etc. And, if you don't pick up the car that day, they charge you $10 a day. They make you pay sales tax, temp tag fees and anything else they can. Of course, they never tell you any of this until you win the bid.
Being that the auction was online, I lived across the country and could not pick up the car for a couple of weeks. But, they don't care, they will charge you the storage fee, and they did not mention that until I flew in and arrived at the place.
If you want a good deal on a car auction online, there probably are some good places. But, if you think it will be from Sierra Auctions, you are totally wrong!
