One payment was late, i brought it down to a drop off center in the form of a certified check. The week before, i mailed off the regular monthly to payment. I called the new orleans branch to let them know what was done. Now they showed where i had paid the late payment with late fees and new that the other check was coming to them. They had the chek number and dollor amount.
At the end of the conversaion, i was told that the truck was out for repo and there was additional charge of $150.00 that also had to be paid. They gave me phone number and i called explained what happened, but since the paperwork had already went out i still had to pay. The next day i called to find out if the check had came in. It had, but i was told it did not clear the bank so i was still out for repo.
Well, naturally i called my bank manager and he said he did not show where the tried to run it. I ask if he would call them and tell them that the money is in the account. He did and i was told by crescent bank that they still had to get thir supervisors approvel before they would run it through. Even though my bank called them.
I believe that crescent bank should be investigated for the things that they do to people. They do not give you any information up front or any warnings that anything is about to happen.
