"All the Randall Reed Planet dealerships will try to cheat you by placing hidden "Customer Benefits Package" charges on your contract" — Kirk, Houston Texas

Subject: Your Dealerships

Gentlemen; 12-01

You have a problem in the Greater Houston Metro area with at least one of your dealerships. Randall Reed Planet Ford in Humble Texas always writes in hidden charges. This practice should be illegal or criminal and is at best unethical.
Apparently this is typical of ALL the Planet Automotive Dealerships, owned by Potamkin Automotive or affiliated with Worldclass Automotive, Wcaggp Inc., Pfpp Gp, Inc. And any of the following:

In the Greater Houston Metro area, Planet Dealerships have a VERY bad reputation, for decades, as evidenced by these reviews on the internet. Its not a wonder that they have bad sale financial figures compared to other dealers. They treat their customers very bad:

Shame on Randall Reed Ford in Humble Texas. This is their work culture of trying to slip in hidden charges and cheat customers. I sent email to the Manager (Kramer), and then talked to the Sales Manager, Anson Jones the next day and he agreed they have problems. They cannot meet their sales quotas because their customers that are paying attention are wise to their inflating the drive out final cost and walk away. Their "Customer Benefits Package" is ALWAYS added to the bottom line without the customers knowledge or consent. Apparently, this "Customer Fleecing Package" is an invention of Randall Reed Ford in Humble, Texas. The internet salesmen are especially unethical and the three below have no business working at any place that values their reputation. They write in all sorts of imaginary charges on the Retail Purchase Agreement and will not explain why they are there. They agree to a sales price and then add charges to the bottom line and try to force the customer to sign.
Since Randall Reed Ford in Humble Texas has such horrible employees and managers, someone at the corporate level should make some personnel changes. Take a close look at their bottom line compared to your other dealerships and I am quite sure you will see their low performance.
Open letter to the manager:
Mr. Kramer (MANAGER), 11-29
Your employees do not stick to there agreements and try to defraud customers. I drove 100 miles all the way from Katy to your Humble store only to be lied to and was being forced to paid a hidden charge of about $1200 more than agreed. Someone over there should be fired. Your staff is awful. The bad sales people are Musa Zayid, Kirk Dudley, someone named Zach (played like he was a sales manager) and one of your managers... Maybe Billy Harvey (not sure) ALL these guys made me a promise to sell me: VIN # 3FAHP0HA7CR224386 for a competitive matched price of $18595 $295 TTL including adding backup sensors. ALL three of the bad salesmen above swore to me, on the phone, and in email before I drove 100 miles, that we had a deal and that there would be no further price discussion. Before I went to the dealership, I called the main number after Musa Zayid said it was a deal in an email, at $18890, and he agreed he would include the additional backup sensors and I asked to speak to the Sales Manager to confirm the deal. Musa Zayid put someone on the line who said he was the sales manager (most likely Zach or Dudley) and he confirmed the deal.
When I got there and sat down with Dudley, he started with a 18755 price? And then said the TTL documentation fee of 149 total additional would be $2651 (should have been closer to $1487), and wanted me to sign a piece of paper agreeing with a total of $21406. He got upset when I ask him how he got the additional $2651 and he said "That was the deal". I told him to show me how he got that $2651 and he said I would see it on the papers when they were drawn up after I signed his paper. They tried to add on and hide the additional $1164 saying it was standard fees! They knew that they were going to try to pull this trick on me before I ever left home.
I went to the Manager in the main building to talk to the manager on duty. Billy Harvey (not sure), did the same thing, He knew this was a scam and would not give me a break down of the TTL and other charges making up the $2651 add on. The other four supervisory employees sitting at the desk with Billy Harvey were smiling and grinning and chuckling. They all knew this was standard practice of cheating their customers. I wonder how they are going to feel when they get treated the same way. Shame on Randall Reed Ford in Humble Texas. Is this what you want your dealerships known for?

Never going back! I bought a truck here for my husband. My husband discussed the entire deal and since he was working the day I picked it up, I was left to sign all the papers. No problem! Ya think? NOT! I got into the documents office to sign the papers and questioned what the spongey thing was on his desk... A microphone (red flag # 1)... Why?"So when we tell people information about things in the paperwork they can't come back and say they weren't told". Ok... I understand... What is that in the corner of the ceiling? A camera (red flag # 2)... Why?"So we can identify who was informed about the paperwork"... Starting to sound like they have had a few issues? Ok... Back to the paperwork... I sign it all, not really looking because my husband has already made the deal... What are these? (red flag # 3)..."Your coupon book for free things"... Free things? Great! 55,0000 truck and we get FREE things!.."Yes, they are coupons for oil changes, alot of different services"... Ok, I live 45 miles away, but we do come this way to visit, so maybe they are useful... I go to get the truck after paperwork and they tell me it is being "etched"... Etched?."Yes, we etch ALL our vehicles for security measures"... Great! What a fantastic idea! Go home... Husband looks at the papers and blows a 14 carat gasket! What is the 250.00 charge? Coupon book??? I was led to believe that was free! What is the 199.00 charge? Etching??? Needless to say... They got a call from my husband who was not as nice as they would have liked... He told them to come over and get the truck... It would be parked outside... They could have it... They ended up, after 48 hours and no money forthcoming from our CU, taking the extra costs off... Oh, by the way, when I left there with the truck I asked if they were going to fill it up and they said that they don't do that... Ok... Now, today is 12-13... My paper plates expired on 11-1... Still no tags... Yes, they were supposed to be there already and they came in... No, we don't know where they are... Yes, call us back in a week if you haven't seen them... A week later... No tags... Yes, we will have the girl go to the courthouse and get new tags, we will overnight them, you should have them in 2 days... No, the lady that was supposed to overnight your tags has been out sick, you WILL have them by tomorrow afternoon... Ok... Round # 10? Ding Ding!!! Won't blame Charlene or Ashley... Great girls... WAY TOO EFFICIENT to be tied up with this bunch! Rating star # 2 is for their efforts alone! Will NEVER do business with these people again... Would rather ride a Schwinn!

Don't waste your time with Randall Reed Dealerships. I was warned by many but didn't pay attention but everything I was told was RIGHT. I went there to compare deals between three other dealerships I was working with—Gullo Ford, Russell and Smith Ford and Mac Haik. All had the same F250 I wanted to trade my existing F250 for. I informed the salesperson of this and still was presented with an enbarrassing low-ball offer. After spending three hours at the dealership, they still wasn't at what the other dealers were willing to offer. Why? Well Randall Reed dealerships are notorious for adding crap you don't need to new vehicles, forcing you to buy it. The truck I looked at had nitrogen filled tires, some kind of treatment on the glass, and some other things I don't need totally $2000.in the end, that very $2000 was the deal breaker because that's how much they were off coparing to other dealers. I told them, but they didn't care. Don't believe the hipe that "nobody beats a Randall Reed deal" BECAUSE THEY DO. Next day I took delivery of my new truck from Mac Haik. A follow up call was made the following day from Randall Reed trying to lure me in once again. When I told the man who called what happened, he still tried to convince me that I needed the crap they added. Needless to say I dropped the "I already bought somewhere else" and then I wasn't important. I purchased new vehicles in the area from Weisner, Russell and Smith and now Mac Haik and all three are reputable where you can get good deals. Randall Reed Ford is a joke!!! Worst dealership I have ever been too or dealt with and I buy every two years so I've done this a lot. Just don't waste your time. They are more interested in selling you the crap they add to their new vehicles rather than the product itself. STAY AWAY FROM RANDALL REED DEALERSHIPS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE A SUCKER!!!

I went to Randell Reed Ford and gave a salesman Robert Sparks 2,100 dollars and observed him give it to a used car financial manager Steve Vasqeuz in which Vasqeuz instructed me to bring 400 more dollars for what I have no idea. Steve gave me my vehicle which was a jeep patriot and told me my deal was done. Later about 3 weeks later i was ask by Steve to bring my vehicle in to have an gps installed, which I complied with and when i returned to pick up my vehicle was sold. Then he told me that my file was under investigation and he didnt have it anymore, so he sent me to the new car building to look for my file. When i got to the new car building and they've never heard of me or my file, and all of a sudden here comes Vasquez with my file with a receipt saying that i only gave 100 dollars down. Now with credit like mine, I dont believe there's a car dealership in the world would let drive away in a vehicle for 100 dollars down. A financial director Chris Griffin stepped in and said he would take care of me and informed me that they would give me a bailout until they purchased me another jeep patriot. I drove the bailout for 3 weeks, which i did not ask for and now there saying because of me driving the bailout i cant get my 2100 dollars back because the dealership told the bank which had already approved me that I only put 1000 dollars down which was not ok with the bank associate whom I spoke with so the dealership became upset and now are trying to deny me my 2100 hundred dollars back. So i have been instructed to contact a detective Miller with the Humble police department and file charges on Robert Sparks whom just so happens to be a african american, but nothin being said about Steve Vasquez whom I gave cash money to which was dumb on my behalf I should have gotten a cashier's check but i would hate to have to bring the news media in to this, but it looks like that's what's going to conspire because it's Christmas time and I have kids. All i want to receive my 2100 hundred dollars back. That was my last money at that time to try and get transportation for my kids and myself. I go to school and work and this is a terrible time of year to loose that type of money. All i want is my money back.
