I purchased a pair of Westin Oval Tube Steps (chrome) for my 2003 Chev pickup in May.By February the chrome plating was full of pits and was peeling in several places. Contacted Westin Customer Service (Lourdes Nunez) who requested a copy of the sales receipt and pictures of the damage, I had not retained the receipt. I furnished pictures alone. Lourdes notified me she referred the matter to another person for action.
The matter died! From exploring the web and contacting local Westin vendors, I found Westin had experienced extensive complaints regarding manufacturing defects in their chrome plated Oval Tube Steps. I wonder how many customers have been left holding the bag like me??
