I recently saw an ad on Craigs List for a 2004 VW convertible Bug. The add says it only has 29,000 miles on it and no body damage, it also runs great. He listed the car for $2000 dollars saying he was being deployed to Afghanistan on 11/19 and had to get rid of it quickly. I live in DE which the ad "hints" that the car is also. I asked several times to see the car, but received no responses. Then I was told to send the money to Google Checkout, but not directly to them to Western Union in Chicago. It had to be sent to a man named Oscar Burrows 4250 N. Marine Drive Chicago IL 60613. This all sounded like a scam. I told Joshua Newman 14370 SW 289th Street Homestead FL 33033 the person trying to sell this car that I would be in Florida on 11/12 and would meet him there give him cash and drive the car home. He refused this offer too. There is no car! It is a big scam. Do not fall for this. Once again the old saying that if it is to good to be true it usually is not true. I am glad I checked. Hopefully the next person does also. These people need to be STOPPED!!!
