We took our 4 wheeler in on March 27th to be fixed, one sprocket was bad, the clutch need to repaired, the seals on the front hub need repair, and a new battery was needed. We picked up the 4 wheeler on 4/9/04, Alan paid the bill for $352.65 in full, while the mechanic loaded the 4 wheeler in the back of the pickup. We returned to Ada, and while unloading the 4 wheeler, Alan noticed that the left side fender was broken, and someone had pieced it back with a wire tie, upon closer exam
he also found the bracket on the air cleaner was broken, neither of these were broke before the motorsport shop had worked on them.
Alan called on 4/10/04 at 10:00 am to report the damage, the mechanic was who answered and dicussed the problem that occured. At this time the mechanic said that he forgot to tell us, but he broke the fender while, reinserting the cover over the clutch. He also said he didn't know how the air cleaner bracket was broke. He told Alan since he wouldn't have time to make it to the shop before they closed, that he needed to bring it next weekend. Alan took the 4 wheeler in on 4/17/04 and they were closed due to they went to the races. Alan called on 4/21/04 and ask what they were going to do to fix the problem. They said didn't break it and held no libility.
Alan ask to speak to the owner, he was told that the owner was hardly ever in. Alan ask for his name and was deined a answer. We feel that it is not too much to ask, for them to fix what they broke, that is all we were trying to do. Polaris is a great product and we have always used a certified polaris dealer, a feel that we were treated very poorly.
