Lied to by Nopi and extremely poor customer service

I spoke to 'Rusty' at Nopi about an exhaust part for my car. He told me he could get me the part. I asked him specifically if the part would fit a factory stock car and he said it would. I told him that I was under time restraints and needed the part by the end of the month.
The part arrived about a week later and it was the wrong one - it was a performance type part and would NOT fit my car without modification. Attempts to reach 'Rusty' were unanswered. I had to have the part modified and installed at an additional expense to me of $112.00.
When I finally received an email answer from 'Bobby Evans', he defended Rusty's way of doing business and said that if I returned the part, I could get a refund. He only offered this AFTER I told him the part was modified and could not be returned as he requested.
After several emails back and forth, Nopi declined my request to refund me the additional costs I incurred ($112.00) because their sales rep lied to me about the part they sent.in fact, they made no offer to fix their mistake at all. I will never do business with this company again and I recommend that anyone that needs parts for their car to purchase them from any company BUT Nopi. They do not stand behind their products and in my opinion, are a poorly run and untrustworthy organization.
