I have been using Capital One Auto Finance for the past 2 years on a car I bought. No, I do not have the best credit and I am thankful for them to give me a chance, but all they are doing in screwing up my credit even more.

Last year, I ran into some trouble with a job and was behind on payments. I made payment arrangements with a lady to pay $100 a week out of each paycheck to get caught up. Sounds good right? Well, she failed to tell me that I only had 6 weeks to do this. Then one night while sitting at home with a friend, I get a knock at my door (sounded like someone breaking in, scared me and my friend). It as a lady there to repossess my car. I told her I had made a payment, but Cap. One was closed so no one could be reached. This was 9:00P.M. I asked the lady to leave and she had to according to KS state law. After getting all of that taken care of, the same lady showed up at my work. I had made my payment. Where is it all going???!?!?!? I had to take off work to make phone calls and finally my boss gave me a check for the amount so I wouldn't lose my car. She left town later that day.

Now I am facing another situation with Cap. One. My payment is due on the 16 of each month. They start calling on the 17th if it is not in their grubby little hands. And it is not once a day, or twice a day either. One day they called me 15 times!!! And they call from 2 different numbers. 972-244-0051 and 866-279-0830. These calls start as early as 8:12 A.M. Until 8:59 P.M. When I tell the rep I have already talked to them, (I may answer it once a week) they tell me they do not know about the other number and that they only call once a day. I have all the proof on my phone. Isn't Caller ID wonderful!!! Then when I do talk to these people and explain (like my situation right now) that I am off work due to pregnancy and no child support for the past 2 months and that i will pay as soon as I get the Child support payment, they keep asking me over and over again when I will make a payment. Didn't I just tell you I didnt have a specific date?!?!?!? If I knew I would tell you and get it all made up, but I don't. How can I give you anymore information? These people are all rude, snotty, and out for our money. Oh and on top of this, I have a $25 a month misc. Fee that no one can explain. I refuse to pay it and have turned this company into the BBB.

I am sure I will get a rude rebuttle from one of their employees but I have read several other reports made by Cap. One Auto Finance's unhappy customers and I think there is something fishy going on? NO grace period, two different mailing addresses, late fees have to be mailed seperate, misc. Fee, and who knows what else.

PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company. I am so deperate to get rid of my car just so that I do not have to deal with them again.

Oh and this just in, in January I had a payment due of $700 and some odd dollars. I paid $900 on the 29 of that month. My monthly statement is now saying that I am behind $700. It should be $480. Hmmmmmmm, what is the extra $220 dollars for???
