On june 9th. i was involve in car accident. I was making a left turn into parking lot, almost 75-80 % inside the lot, i was hit by anothr car that: according tp police report; was speeding,, was not wearng the seat belt, was texting (was not investigated and was denied by), failer to stop the car (no brake or tire marks on the road to show any attempt by her to stop), had enough roadway on street to drive behind me, and so on.
Upon the accident, faster than i could come out of my car, she was in the middle of the street yelling all the names and calling that she is pregnant. Trying to catch some public sympathy. Calling 911, weymouth police, fire trucks, medic ambulances, and tow trcks came in just about the same time. Of course, the public image and their pre-judgments, an accident has happened, a taxi (out of town) and a local girl screeming the she is pregnant, two cars are totalled, not a good seeing. The cabbie is always guilty.
Police report has been called, very odd... Unprofessional... Using an unborn child as an excuse and sympathy, and not making sence by insurance co. We both are insured by the same co, crossfile. I was charged by polis for failer for uncomig traffic. Police was change the locations of the cars to show that i was in the street and not in the lot-which contradicts with his report that i was in parking lot about 10 feet, and so...
He has made an story of his own, and they removed the cars from the location so very quick that it will not be of checking the situation in the accident.
I was charged 753.00 by his friend from the tow co. To be towed about three miles.
I have been issued a violation ticket for 35.00 for failer to uncoming traffic.
I filed my report the next day, withall the pics and documents.
The other side, day after the accident had a lawyer calling the insurance co. For rental car and personnal injury money (pip) and that is it.
As far as i know, untill the date july 17, the have not submitted and or reported any claim and or statement regarding their side, it is abot 50 some days after the accident. Mass. Law requires five business days for eatch side to prepare and report th accident to authorities.insurance co, is unable to contact with them, and calling the police report as quesstionable, and therefore can not come out with anu decision.
Police has no injury report for the people in the car and using the unboren as an possible injury in the case and that had been removed by the hospital and saying that the unborn is ok.
