Enterprise Fraudulent Damage claim

I think it must be stated that I have actually never rented a car before this time and if I EVER do again, it will most certainly not be with Enterprise. I rented the car from Enterprise from 07/13 to 07/20. I denied the much expensive extra insurance that was offered on the day I got the car because of the added cost and I am confident and responsible enough to take care of a vehicle for a weeks time considering I have a clean driving record, good credit, never had claims on my own insurance, and never been late paying a bill. After denying the extra coverage, the lady handling my particular agreement stated that "well we've made fifteen (15) claims alone this week, just to let you know". The direct statement came off strangely and bragging-like... Kind of how I have pictured a used car salesman rapport would be with an unsuspecting new customer. I didn't think too much more about it at that time and went forward with the rental agreement. She then wanted me to inspect the vehicle and said, look for any dents or scratches golf ball size. That seemed like a vague description to look for and wasn't exactly sure what I was doing, seeing as how I had never rented a vehicle before much less inspected one. I didn't see any "golf ball size dents or scratches" on the car that I was aware of. There were slight cosmetic dings and stains on the front bumper, but nothing I considered of any significance.in fact it looked like what you'd see on any average car that had been used for any length of time. Rule one to consumers: NEVER INSPECT THE VEHICLE BY YOURSELF! In retrospect, I would have walked it with a person from enterprise, brought my digital camera to take pictures, and inspected it with a fine-toothed comb before signing that agreement. It should be noted that remembering back to that afternoon, I'm about 95% sure that the particular scratch that I am accused of putting on the car was already there on the bumper. The man proceeded to tell me that there was a scratch on the front fender and when I walked the car, it was on the lower half of the bumper, I almost walked right by it. He had to bend down and move his hand across the area to show me what he was referring to. I told the man how careful I had been how I was even returning the vehicle a day EARLY (07/19) and there was no way I caused that damage. It didn't appear as something that I would report, in the way of "golf ball size dents/scratches". He then said that he would check the records and see if the scratch wasn't already there and when he spoke on his phone he also said the bumper was cracked during his conversation. Their claim doesn't even state that there was a crack. It is a complete joke with how exaggerated the claim was becoming by the minute. The car was driven to family member's gated community and parked for the entire rental period! We were taken around the town in my cousin's vehicle so the car was only used to get us to their town and drive it back to the airport. Also, on the rental agreement I initialed the condition and fuel level and there is no X in the box marked NO DAMAGE meaning they are also stating that there might be damage before I rented. Why do they take advantage of a customer in this way? How could they possible know that I caused that scratched bumper when no one walked the vehicle with me? Bottom line, I am being targeted because I didn't get the extra insurance and because I got the car at a discounted rate.
