On Sunday December 2. I had an alternator replaced a the Waco, Texas Pep Boys. After being told that I was the first in line and the alternator would be repaired in 40 mins at a replacement labor cost of $40.00. I was charged 13.00 more for the labor, the store manager refused to explain the cost difference. It took 4 phone calls from me, speaking to the manager and 4 aditional hours to start on the repairs. I was also told by the service writer and the store manager that I could pick the vehicle up at anytime. On a Sunday, this would not have gotten the vehicle repaired.
I complained to the district office and the complaint was sent to the assistant store manager. Like he could solve the problem... Since the store manager told him to call me. I asked that the district manager call me anytime...
I am still waiting. I also refiled my complaint on their web site... Still waiting... Wonder if Manny, Moe and Jack have to wait??? I also asked that mark page - senior vp of store operations contact me... oh well still waiting
