I recently purchased a 1962 Impala SS Protouring car. At least thats what was adverized. I relied on videos and multiple conversations and emails I had with John ONeil the sales representative that I dealt with. To start the video totally misrepresented the car. His video description stated that the car has an updated corvette LT-1 350 HP engine. After I researched it myself I had to tell them the engine is actually a weaker TPI engine. I dont even know that it is from a convette. I believe it is a 305 from a comero. Among the other other problems I found was that FLEMINGS claims to have done a fresh paint job on the car. The paint job has orange peel over spray and many other flaws. They just paint over the pre-existing rust! Terrible in house paint job! The trim that they claimed to be real is actually all fake adhesive stick-ons. All the chrome which was supposed to be new is terribly worn and old.
The AC doesnt work and the car wont stay on, it has died on me multiple times in traffic. This is Extremely unsafe! Tires are all balled and not Zrated as claimed! They lie and have no idea what they are selling. For experts in the Classic car field they sold me a fake! I was told it has an updated suspension... It doesnt! When it rains the winsield leaks all over the steering wheel and driver side. I was told it has a positraction... It doesnt! FLEMINGS claims they go through the care fromm top to bottom and all you have to do is turn the key and drive... They are full of crap! There are so many flaws with the car I'm embrassed I bought it! I trusted what they said over the phone and videos... I had multiple conversations with the sales people... I paid top dollar for my dream car that has turned into a nitemare... Now they wont even discuss a resolution to ALL these problems... If your thinking about buying from FLEMINGS DONT!
