On Dec. 24,03 (X-mas Eve) my husband went down to pay for our leased truck of not even a year old off and retain ownership. The sales manager said that he couldn't help him, to talk to the bank but wanted to sell him a new truck.
Dec. 26,03 my husband goes down again to the dealership wants to know what the price is for an exact model of the truck we wanted to purchase, the sales manager said he didn't know and to talk to
finance dept.
My husband sceduled an appointment for the 29th to hopefully finalize the payoff amount and pay for our truck. My husband comes home and says the appointment was cancelled becuase finance couldn't make deal without sales manager. What deal was there to make -Chrysler Financial the bank clearly states the payoff amount by phone and computer.
Now on Dec. 30,03 we both go down there and get told the lady we were to speak was late, not in - basically they made no sense. We get sent to someone else. We weren't helped either, it seemed like they didn't want our cash. After waiting for almost 2 hours. The individual from finance, not professional in any way brings us a scratch piece of paper with this outrageous price on it.
The price SD Dodge wanted was $37,893.25 with taxes. The bank's TRUE amount was $33,618.42 with taxes. When I asked where did they get that wrong amount, The individual responded while looking back to either co-workers or supervisors, that's what their given me. Who? I asked, Call Chrysler Financial and look up the information, they refused.
Plus we get told, what are you going to to. Nothing we said, your not getting our money and we left. Apparently, since it was during Xmas time they were out to get some money-crooks. I filed a compliant to Chrysler Financial regarding SD Dodge and the Better BB. Still dealing with this and it's already February. Plus, I'm a third time customer. I wonder if I got ripped off the past two cars? Bad customer service in general! I left a message to the owner of SD Dodge, no call has been returned.
