In late 98-99 my 98 mustang Gt E-brake (standard tranny) failed and my Car rolled 20 feet down a slight hill and hit a 1.5 ft. High curb and bent my axel 2 degrees causing 5,000 $ in damage.
They refused to pay for it and said cause I didn't put it in gear It was my fault. Then 3 months later I get a recall letter in the mail for my ver problem. They had to replace a part in the E-Brake that was causing it to fail. Again they refused to compensate me.
All I wanted was my 1,000 deductable I had to pay, but they refused. I then had a new 3:73 ring and pinion installed and they didn't even hammer it in all the way so luckily I went to Westway Ford and they fixed it right.
