Rick Catline ordered an engine from us in February. The engine was delivered on a Steel Pallet (which I had informed Rick, needed to be returned upon delivery) Spoke with Rick around Feb 28th and he said he would call when it was ready. Got a call from our shipper asking if it was ready for PU, so I called Rick to remind him we needed to come grab it. Rick said it was gone and had been picked up by a freight company. He cannot tell me who picked it up, when and why. All the carrier said apparently, is that they needed to pick it up.
Nothing on our end was scheduled to have it picked up and we were taking care of the freight. With no proof of who picked it up, where it was going and when, we have to charge Rick the cost of the pallet which is $1000. He is refusing to pay the charges and keeps hanging up the phone on me saying it has nothing to do with him. If you have somehting that belongs to someone else in your posession and you lose it / misplace it, then it is your responsibility!
We need that $1000 paid as we are having to pay it to our shipper now.
