On Feb. 10 I learned that my vehicle was towed fromy apartment complex because it was taking up two parking spaces. The car next to mine was also taking 2 spaces yet that one was not towed.
When I went to talk to someone about the situation the lady, Rosie, was very rude. She had told us "Are you going to get the car or no. T". The whole thing seemed kind of shady. My brother (who went with me) asked to talk to someone in charge and Rosie had said there was no one we could talk to because they were always in and out.
When my brother asked if we could set up some kind of appointment so we could talk to someone she said "Well you could but I don't know if they will get back to you because they are always out."
We then asked if we could get the car seats out of the vehicle because I have 2 kids and my brother has 1 all under the age of 5 yrs. She said only the owner could get it which it happends to be my mother who lives 2.5hrs away, but we have her last name.
Now, anyone who has kids knows it is very dangerous to drive without car seats and can possibly get pulled over, and my nephew had been in and out of the hospital so it was an emergency, but they still had no compassion.
I called up a friend to see what I could do to take it to court he then told me to ask them to tell me who called it in to have it towed. They said they could not give out that information. Not only was she rude when I asked she laughed at me as well! They did not allow me to see any pictures of my "illegal parking" either because it was for court purposes only, which I found strange because I could not do anything about it even if I had seen it. It was not like I was going to tear them or burn them.
Reguardless, the whole thing seemed very weird and shady. What kind of place is it that if you need to talk to someone in charge they are never around nor can they keep appointments?.
