Terrible Customer Service

Went online to purchase floor liners for my Saturn. Looking for WEATHERTECH floor liners, based on past experience with products in my other vehicles. Searched several web-sites, and CardID reviews were better than average for the most part, and the website offered the "in-stock" product with 2-3 business days (UPS Ground shipping). Ordered product, then fun began...

* 12/21 - order placed & paid for;

* 12/21 - order confirmation sent showing anticipated ship date of 1/3;

* sent email inquiry to CarID cust. Serv. As to shipment delay;

* 1/3 - CarID customer service response, stating sorry, have to wait for product to be manufactured (website stated in-stock)

* back-and-forth with CarID on phone and email (average cust serv. Telephone wait time is approximately 1-HOUR... GOOD LUCK)

* 1/4 - received PARTIAL shipment of product ordered, shipping "Bill of Lading" states order date on 12/28, NOT the 12/21 date my credit was charged)

* 1/7 - received 2nd part of shipment; WRONG PART IN THE BOX! BOX MARKED WITH CORRECT PART # - Called CARId cust. Serv. Sat on hold for 45-minutes and then the phone switched to automatic recording stating "closed, call back during normal business hours..." Called WEATHERTECH/Manufacturer of product (WEATHERTECH)... Sat on hold for another 45-minutes. WEATHERTECH stated that they found the order and that WEATHERTECH installed the incorrect part in the correct box "SORRY"... Asked for WEATHERTECH to make correct, and since product was shipped from WEATHERTECH direct out of Bolingbrook, IL... (15-minutes from my house) WEATHERTECH stated that they couldn't do that, and that I would have to go back through CARId.

* 1/10 - called CARId, on hold for 45 minutes, got through to Sergio... Run around on return authorization (RMA junk) apologies and placed another charge/hold against my card for the correct part... (??? Paid for the part now twice, still don't have it) Sergio stated that I would have to wait to get the correct part, until AFTER CARId received the returned INCORRECT part, and they were able to get WEATHERTECH to send the correct part; (much ado with me as pissed off and understandably frustrated with CARId as possible) CARId promises "discounts" due to screw up and "will try to expedite the shipment of the correct part..." (RIGHT!!! HAVEN"T SEEN ANY OF THAT!!!)

* 1/11 - email from CARId with RMA process, still no confirmation of correct replacement part

* 1/12- shipped WRONG part back to CARId

* 1/12 - PRESENT - several emails back to CARId, no response on order status, no response on "Discount", no response PERIOD!!!

* 1/16 - here I sit, almost 1-month from the day I purchased the products, paid for the products, with 1/2 of my order and more than a mouthful of BS that I have endured to purchase what seemed to be a simple process.

WEATHERTECH (a quality product in my mind) needs to seriously consider the NEGATIVE RAMIFICATIONS of allowing a company like CARDId to market and sell their product. Additionally, WEATHERTECH should recognize that customer service is more important than the product that you sell, and after admitting the error was WEATHERTECH's problem, should have remedied the error immediately, without involving the consumer (ME) with the BS from CARDId that now bashes their product and process.

BTW, I have yet to hear from any of the SENIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE representatives, the CEO, COO or any of the company representatives about this issue, as I had asked both WEATHERTECH and CARDId customer service reps. I would believe that David MacNeil, founder and CEO of WEATHERTECH, would like to know that his product is suffering from the BS shoveled by CARId, and by WEATHERTECH's own process.

Looks like I will never see the products I've ordered, and... CARId will never see another order from me or anyone I know. WEATHERTECH is now not looking so good. Other options are out there... I'm looking
