In July of this year, I took my 1990 Dodge Cummins Diesel to All American to have them check a coolant loss-overheating problem. After the truck being there for several days, they called and told me that I had a major engine problem and that the engine would need to be replaced. Well the truck had 227,000 miles on it and was 13 years old, but still a good truck that I loved.
After some thinking I decided that I couldn't really justify putting 7-8000 dollars into it. A frriend of mine at work wanted tyo buy it knowing that it would need an engine. Well when he came to get he drove it home and his father-in-law soldered a hole in the radiator and he has been driving it ever since with NO problems. All Americans miss-diagnosis cost me a perfectly good truck that needed a 5 dollar solder job instead of a 7000 dollar engine.
I went and bought a new car for 19,000 dollars when I really didn't need one and I would have still had my truck if All American would have correctly diagnosed the problem.
I want a settlement from them for the price that my truck was worth at the time which was 7000 dollars
