I purchased two Hyundai vehicles from Universal Hyundai in Orlando, FL during the month on July. I selected the brand based on improved reliabilty ratings and warranty.
Two weeks after the purchase I started experiencing issues with my 2009 Santa Fe and this was brought into the dealership. They could not replicate the issue so the speaker problem remained unfixed - I again brought the vehicle in September - same issue - unable to replicate. Then again in December, the issue was again revisited but this time the CD was not working - it was not checked when purchased and I expected that it would be in working order.
It was finally stated that the issue with the speakers stemmed from the CD player having a foreign object - this was brought to ther service department's attention two weeks after it was purchased and now I am being told this does not fall under warranty (I also purchased extended warranty).
My expectation is that the company honor its warranty and fis the vehicle.
