I would not recommend ford of Kirkland to anyone. Me and my fianc went into them to look at a few cars that we had seen online and were interested in, we got there the sales man asked me what we were looking for we told him what wehad seen online, he said the first thing he wanted to do was see what we couldget financed for, which I was ok with, he came back and said we only gotapproved for 1 car a 2004 Saturn ion, 5 spd black it was a nice little car andmy fianc liked it so we took it for a test drive, talked about it decided weliked it, we did all the paper work and left with our car. We get a call fromthe sales man on Nov 26 saying that they need more information that everythingwas fine and it happens all the time, so we email him the info dont hearnothing back so we figure it was taken care of.
I call the finance company on Dec 14 to make my paymentwhich was 3 days late cause I lost my debit card and had to wait for my newcard. I talk to the finance company they congratulate me on my new car I makemy payment and set up auto pay and go on my way. Dec 20 comes around and thesales man calls and is being really rude and short saying we never sent him theinformation and that the finance company isnt doing the loan now and that weneed to give him all this info so that he could try to find financing for us Itell him not to do that and that we will bring the car back in on Dec 21 andfigure out whats going on and he tells us that if we dont do the financingright now were going to lose all our money and the car. So we talk to anattorney and see what our options our.
She says they cant do that and that ifwe tell them we want to unwind the deal and null and void the contract wasentitled to our money back. The attorney calls ford of Kirkland they talk, theattorney calls us back and says they said theyd unwind the deal and give usour money back minus $. 50 cents a mile so we go back in and we talk to WalyBaily, he seemed really nice he apologized we figured out the mileage, aftertaking out the mileage it left us with $156 of our $1150 that we had put down, he said that if we called our attorney and told her that they had taken care ofus and everything was good now he would give us $250, we thought about it, I weagreed cause that would at least give us the $300 check the finance companysaid they were sending us and plus that towards a car cause now were car less Ihave to get back and forth to work and my finance is 3 months Prego. So we callour attorney and tell her they did us right and we leave with a check for $250and go to look at another car lot for a car.
We talk to a couple people and tell them whats going on, and they tell us that they have within96 hours of the deal to secure financing and if they dont they have to requestthe car back and give customereverything invested in the car back and see if customer would like to try andsecure another loan. They never did that they called us a month and a halflater telling us this. Now I'm stuck paying $900 dollars for them screwing up, not going to happen, I talked to Mr. Baily yesterday he was supposed to call meback and tried to call him today nothing, I'm not getting screwed and will becalling Mr. Pat Semler and starting a dealer investigation of this matter, I'mgoing to being filling complaints to the DOT, FTC, and BBB, and will pursuethis matter until rectified. I dont advise you go through Ford of Kirkland, unless you want this to happen
