Very Shady. These people bank on uninformed consumers, which we were when we went in there. But we picked up on their lies and shadiness! We were this close to buyin from them where we would have ended up paying sooo much more than the car was worth. They lower the price of the car where its cheaper than any other places to lure you in. To qualify for that price you need to finance thru them. They make up stories, basically lie tou you. They said to us, because you are a financing a car for the first time, your interest rate will be 9 - 15%!!! Lies!!! Do not believe this. After walking away and going thru a credit union they ran the credit and we qualified for 4.9 interest rate!!! Unbelievable how Northeren Auto Traders does business! They will make up lies upon lies to get you to purchase from them. They make up credit scores. My credit was 757! They show a paper saying 680! They require $500 'deposit" non refudable mind you, just to check to see if you qualify for the loan and they will not tell you what rate you qualify for untill you sign and give them $500. They charge a $1395 recondition vehicle fee! They try to say it covers repairs and to inspect the vehicle, other dealers dont charge this! All lies this place! Please do not deal with these people. We lost $500 because we didn;t do our research. But if you are reading this, you can save yourself the frustration of dealing with Northern Auto Traders.
