My check engine light came on 9/24 on the way too work. I called Dallas Dodge and spoke with service. Name I do not know. I told him about the service engine light. He indicted that they were book for the day. To bring it back on Monday 9/27/10. I was not happy with that reply. Because the manual indicates if the engine light comes on park/turn your engine off and call maintance. Show how convern they are with their customers satisfication. Well I had a busy schedule with the grandkids. So I was able to take my Chysler 300 in on 9/29. Service man Jeff ran a diagnostic test on it and indicated that rocker arm shaft needed to be replaced. I had did my paper work. I went online and saw where Chysler 300 vehicles had this same problem. On 9/3 rocker arm shaft replaced on Chysler 300;8/25 chysler 300 rocker arm shaft pedestal;4/23 Chysler 300 pedistal kit replaced. So my complait to Chysler Dodge is why should my extended warranty have to pay for a factory problem that Chysler is aware of. When Camery had the problem they recalled the part. As you know no extending warranty after factory warranty will cover this part because of the simple fact it is a major factory problem and Chysler needs to compliment their customers. I even had to pay for the diagnostic testing when Chysler new what the problem was. I deserve a refund/Chysler needs to take the responsibility and fix my car. Without me having to pay any deductible.
