The worst! I had two really bad experiences so now that I gave them the benefit of the doubt I will never go back.
The first was after an oil change, a month later my car was leaking oil - took it to the dealer and the whole engine was covered with oil because the JL people didn't seal the cap on tight enough and after a month all that oil had leaked out and ruined some parts. It cost $300 to repair and as someone else commented, all JL offered was a free oil change on my next visit and took NO responsibility. I had the repair bill from the dealer and they wrote clearly on it that JL had not fastened the cap properly, they denied it was their fault.
Next time I thought I would use the free oil change and of course they got more $ out of me, being a woman they talked me into extra service. When I told my husband later he was very upset as I didn't need the service. This is their whole game.
So this time I went in for a supposed quick and painless oil change and they quoted me one price and when I got my bill it was another $30 plus once again they insisted I needed filters, tires rotated - the whole nine yards. Complete rip, because I had just done my big tune up a few months earlier. When I told them that they wouldn't listen and proceeded to do replace filters and rotate tires and i got a bill for $300!
Very un-professional, sleazy and low life guys working there who have been trained to rip off the customer.
They will not be getting any more of my business!
