Our baggage was dropped by Alitalia in December plus they still owe me $1465.00.
After landing in Milan in December after waiting hours for baggage that never appeared, after I recognized that my baggage was dropped, after waiting hours in the lost baggage table, I had been informed to repurchase anything I'd requirement for my week-long holiday since Alitalia advised me they couldn't get my baggage in my experience till 1 week later (your day before I had been making to come back home.)
I had been extremely helpful however they declined to possess my baggage sent to the towns that people were likely to maintain throughout the week (large number of reasons: vacations, wouldn’t purchase courier, etc…) and thus we'd to come back towards the first town at the conclusion of our visit to get it.
Since we were altering towns daily with this “vacation, ”and the luggage they dropped was my ONLY bit of luggage, I not just needed to purchase all my apparel, sneakers, boots (it had been raining), makeup, toiletries, but I also needed to purchase luggage
Alitalia assured me that I'd be repaid so long as I held all my (itemized) bills and posted a state after I delivered towards the claims. (Which, obviously, I did so.) But after nearly 4 weeks I didn’t notice from their store, so when I followed-up, they lied and explained that my baggage was delivered in my experience the next evening, after which they refused my state. Normally, I'd evidence they were laying, (I obtained my baggage 1 week later, not just one time later], and thus they composed a brand new phony nonexistent compensation policy, (there's no such policy, I've all of the paperwork from France, and there's no such policy on the site), and thus they provided me $225*, rather than the $1465* they owe me. (However, I've not obtained a cent).
*Just buying toothpaste, a brush, brush, hand lotion, makeup, deodorant, shoes along with a totebag, that we purchased and employed as BAGGAGE since it was cheaper, charge me $270.00! They provided me $225 like a “settlement” (that we never obtained), but THINK ABOUT THE PRICE OF MY GARMENTS, SHOES, UNDERWEAR? THINK ABOUT THE PRICE OF OUR TAXIS, VEHICLES (to locate these shops), AND TELEPHONE CALLS (to find my missing baggage)??
Must I be anticipated to cover changing my clothes—I stuffed them&they dropped them.

An easy search on the internet will highlight that Alitalia doesn't actually purchase missing baggage.
I've created to, sent and named Alitalia 23 times. I've approached Eyewitness News/7 In Your Corner, The Newest York State Customer Panel, The Greater Business Office, and Andrew Cuomo, Lawyer General…. And numerous vacation troubleshooters online……. I am still awaiting my look for $1465.00.
Another really scary point is the fact that their costs are extremely INEXPENSIVE, and thus pupils likely to research abroad discover this very appealing….
Individuals beware! —do your research&research this flight before you purchase a solution! If you don't are intending to carry on your luggage instances, don't travel alitalia!
