Meineke is a ripoff. They gave me a bill for $719.36 for removing and replaceing a alternator and a tensioner assy., 328.64 for the altinator and 128.36 tensioner assy., 50.73 for shop supplies and 177.19 for labor. I called around and could not find a tensioner assy. Or a alternator at the price they gave me. The tensioner assy. Was marked up anywere from 125% to 300% and the alternator was right around 100%, and what shop supplies are they talking about. How much are they allowed to mark up prices on parts?
