Mazda Brossard Cheating and Humiliation on arrival for test drive

I have a 7 year old car and wanted to buy a new one. I was very much interested in the new sport hatches viz., the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, the 2010 Subaru WRX and the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3. I was more inclined to the new Mazdaspeed 3 after reading the reviews and comparison with the other sport hatches. I requested for a quote and then a test drive. I was asked to contact Mazda Brossard as they were the closest to my residence. I was asked to come to Brossard Mazda at 4:30 PM on Monday the 12th of April for the test drive. Upon arrival, I was humiliated and degraded by these words of the salesman. We have only one Mazdaspeed 3 with us. Anyone in the world would want to test drive this car and so we want to have a contract that you will buy this car after the test drive. His made sutle remarks asking for a deposit and also aked me to mention the color of the car that I would be buying. This salesman did talk to his manager and it is his manager who conveyed the message through him. Is this the way to treat a prospective customer? How can anyone be humiliated and degraded with words when he approaches a company for a business? Curse be on anyone who calls this aggressive marketing! Why do you need to test drive the car if you are anyway buying it as stated in the contract? I had clearly stated to Brossard Mazda in my first mail that I need to shop for cars and am looking at many models before I make a decision and they still asked me to come for the test drive. The information that I needed to sign a purchase contract was not indicated to me in any of their correspondences. If I had known this earlier, I could have saved a lot of time and money by contacting other Mazda dealers. Going forward, I have lodged a complaint against Brossard Mazda with the 'Better Business Bureau of Canada' and 'Mazda Canada'. I am egerly awaiting their response. My time and money need to be compensated for.By this report, I just want to pass a message to all potential Mazda buyers in Montreal. When hypocracy, deceit and no value for a customer or his time are the vices of a business, I can only pity its customers. If they can treat me this way, they can treat anyone the same or even worse. I am happy that I could walk out of it easily. Imagine how this dealer would keep its promises once you are its customer. It is your money and you dont have to throw it away un-necessarily. There are hundreds of other Mazda dealers who might be willing to do a fair business with you. Beware of brossard mazda.
