Lost two tires and wheels. Towing company took me to Brown. I didn't realize they charge over twice what any other company in the area charges. They quoted me $700 for new tires and wheels what everyone else quoted for 4 wheels and tires better suited to our climate - my tires were for snow not rain. When I told Brown I wanted better tires, they said they would charge me $250 for "restocking charges" even though everything was new. I have since found out from their other, former, customers that they play this game with everybody. I have heard they charge $85 for an oil change, an 180% increase over Jiffy Lube.
I went along with their threat cos I wasn't going to pay $250 for nothing. They gave me the contract when I got my truck back. No mention of a restocking charge. So I guess sheer blackmail which I fell for.
Avoid this company. If there is anybody with good to say about them, then go ahead. No one I know has had a good experience.
