I started out by purchasing several thousands of dollars from these people. Kevin, the owner is the person you really have to watch out for. This Guy will say anything to get you order parts.

On several occasions Kevin told me about parts they had in stock, only to find out the parts were not there. I ordered wheels for my 1968 Mustang. Kevin told me that they were on back order, and would be in in a few days. Well I never heard from him about my wheels. I started calling Laurel Mountain and they kept telling me that my wheels would be in any day. This was a big lie! When I contacted the Manufacturer of the wheels, they told me Laurel Mountain (Kevin) had not even placed the order with them. He said that they were not doing business with Laurel Mountain, because they had an unpaid account. So I just ordered the wheels directly from the Manufacturer. Laurel Mountain (Kevin) said that he would just give me a credit for future parts that I would order. I never got a dollar for dollar credit for what I had originally paid Laurel Mountain for the money I gave them for the cost of the wheels. So I just let it go.
I thought that I would give them the benefit of the doubt, and continued purchasing parts. I ordered a Ford Tooling original hood from Kevin, he told me it was the best hood you could buy. It cost more than $400.00. The resto. Shop finally got ready to install the hood on my Mustang. I admit they should have opened it when they received it, but they did not inspect it when it shipped in. When they did open the box they found that the hood was badly damaged. The owner of the resto. Shop called me to tell me the bad news about the hood damage. I immediately called good old kevin. I was told that he couldn't come to the phone. Of course, this was after I told the Guys about the problem with my $400.00 hood.

I called probably ten or twelve times, each time asking to speak with Kevin. The Guy didn't have the "BALLS" to take my call. His crew kept telling me that he was on the phone, or in the bathroom, or out to lunch. I even emailed him trying to communicate with him. His staff Jason, Devin, Lou kept telling me that I was stuck with this $400.00 piece of junk hood. They said so much time had elapsed that they couldn't send it back for a refund credit. I told them that they could have sent it back because the supplier of the hood has no idea when the part actually sells, and that they could send it back because it was damaged.

Laurel Mountain (Kevin) knew this hood was damaged when it was sent. They figured that my restoration people would just fix the danage in the resto. Shop, and that laurel Mountain could unloaded this junk hood on some idiot like me. I told Jason that I would never spend another dime with Laurel Mountain even though I still have a few thousand dollars in parts to buy, and I would tell everyone I know about the sales deception that goes on with their company.

All I can say when dealing with these people is "BUYER BEWARE". If they can cheat me they will cheat you. Bottom line with these crackpots is they are after your $...
