Texas Direct Auto
Admitted to me they use fake pictures!

There are very few companies large enough to tell us as customers to go jump in the lake, but this is one of them. I found a vehicle on ebay motors website then I called and was promised the moon by the sales rep. He then proceeded to tell me I could have a 500 dollar discount if I let him do the deal off of ebay (which was a HUGE MISTAKE!)
I felw in a few days later only to find that the vehicle looked nowhere near what was on the internet and was treated like a stray dog! I kept wanting to know why the vehicle had severe damage and obvious wear that was not there in the photos that were advertised and the sales guy just became a nervous wreck and said "if i tell you that, I will lose my job"
After i waited 7 and a half hours for them to "get my vehicle ready" they finally had a "manager" come tell me that i needed to go to a hotel because they couldnt have it ready! This guy was a real piece of work. Very condescending and cocky attitude and did not care one bit about me as a customer! When I complained he just smirked at me and said "I don't know how they do it where you are from but that's how it works here." and said if I didnt like it I could leave without my vehicle but he would not give me my deposit back no matter what! I felt so taken advantage of i had to go sit down and calm myself.
When I demanded an explanation for the discrepancy in the actual condition of the vehicle and what was pictured, he finally told me that they "clean up the damage in the pictures before they put them on the internet then fix the damage after the cars sell!" like it was no big deal! This typical brash egotistical used car salesman (the one they said was a "manager".) basically told me that they lied to me to get my money then they were going to try to make it as nice as they made it look on the internet while I waited to pick it up. This is an outrage and outright dishonesty.
This company is obviously enormous enough to get away with this because I talked to three other customers during my 8 hour nightmare that were being paid money back refunds to accept their sub par vehicle and they all said they were coaxed into buying their cars without the umbrella of ebay or internet protection and laws.
They kept my 500 dollars and I got stuck with the bills and gas to drive across several states for nothing. Believe me when i tell you that this group of bad guys know every loophole and trick in the book and are proud of it.
