Fifth Third Bank, why can't I get a answer, call back, or fax of my requests. I returned an auto lease, on time with no extra miles, a clean suv, on Nov. The dealership was happly with the return condition of the suv.
Then march I get a letter from Fifth Third for damages. I was shocked to hear and read the report from a auto auction stating than the car was a wreck and it did not sell for a good price and I'm to pay for the damages.
I called the bank to ask where this car was for 4 months, and no one could or cared, only that I owned them money. I wanted a copy of my lease statement to see this provision of obligation and never got it. I wanted photos of the damage and better answers but no responds. They could only read of clue cards stating I own them money. I got a laywer to talk to them, and he got the same responds, the lease agreement is the law and please pay up.
I have not paid a cent to the bank wanting to talk to someone who can talk with out clue cards with no responds.
Now the bank has opened a Bankcard account without my knowing or requesting and charging the amount on the card. This Bank even has its own collection agency with in it self to attemp to collect debts. The collection agency all so read clue cards right from the bank. I believe this is against all known laws in this state, and when I asked the collection agency about this, all they can say is, yes we can and pay up. This is one hell of a way to scam people.
