I called Eddie of Mobile Auto Repair Service on Site to fix or replace my Power Steering Pump. First of all, it took him a week to get to my car. Then after his claimed that he replaced the power steering pump and put sealant in the hose, he charged me $240.00
I gladly paid the money, thinking that my car was fixed and it was not. I found out hours later that he did not fix my car. So I called him to let him know that my car was not repaired. Eddie agree to come out and work on it some more the next day, he never showed up or called.
After being stood up for 2 days, I called him and demanded my money back. Eddie agree to give me my money back and said that was in the area and would drop it by. Eddie never showed up, nor has he returned any of my phone calls.
I had to take my car to Pep Boys and have them do the same work he was paid to do. The Mechanic at Pep Boys said no parts had ever been replaced or changed nor had any sealant been used on the hose for the leak. I have this in writing.
I paid Pep Boys $360.00 for work that was supposely done by Eddie of Mobile Auto Repair Service, and all I want is my money back from Eddie. The problem is that I have no physical address for Eddie or his company in which to file a claim/suit against him. His buiness card and receit only has his phone number printed on it.
Since it is on site auto repair, there isn't a physical business address, he works for himself. He drives a white mini-van with the advertisement on the side reading "Mobile Auto Repair Service". Any help on how to obtain his home address or even get his license-plate number would be helpful. Thank you.
