He lied about everything. He is very good at it too. It wasn't until about 2 days later that I was able to put it all together and realize that I was taken for $900 by Mark Thursby. The contracts are written backwards so questions did arise about the price of the car. I repeated the price many times after the contract was written and he kept saying, YES. Thats the price. He even pulled out a calculator and worked his magic. The $900 in question was for taxes and tags (I was told) BUT later I found they used it for a down payment and rolled the taxes and tags into the price of the car.
When I returned to the dealership 2 days later with this information. They told me OH, NO... The discount was only for students and did not apply to me. I told them to show me where it said that on the sticker in the window. It did not...
They would not give me a sticker to take with me (hmm, wonder why?) and since I already signed the dotted line. I was SOL.
My husband and I made several calls to the general manager who talked to us once but NEVER answered a call from us again.
Beware. Mark Thursby and his coconspirators which include the finance department and the general manager who would not talk to us...
