I possess a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria. I've had this car for 4 decades today without any issues except the windhield wiper motor planning negative. I called around and Progress Autoparts had a Cardone rebuilt wiper engine having a restricted/lifetime guarantee in the cheapest cost of $94.00. The guarantee was greater then other people was providing, and so I thought I'd obtain the engine from their website. Exactly what a ERROR which was. It was not just one of the toughest repairs I Have actually completed, however it was tougher then I believed it'd be. The engine was hidden up underneath the firewall with barely enough settlement to get rid of it. I substitute the engine using the rebuilt and everything worked good for 2 months. I subsequently named NAPA Autoparts and requested a rebuilt wiper motor from their website. On my way to come back the wiper engine I chose to quit in a Ford Lincoln Mercury seller on the road, to keep in touch with them about that issue. The parts department. There is very useful. The components guy explained a few instances when they mightnot wait to-order the component from Ford. They attempted using remanufactured engines from Progress, plus they had exactly the same issues with them when I did. He explained they utilize only new from Ford today. I described I'd previously requested on from NAPA of course if I'd an issue with theres I'd subsequently purchase one from their website.
