In febuary of 09 i had recieved a settlement from a accident that i was in back in july of 08. So honestly being i didnt have good credit and a couple of repo's i was in need of a car bad. Being i work on-call in the medical field i needed a reliable car fast. I lived like 2 blocks down from cactus jacks so i walked over and inquired about getting a car from them. On the day i recieved my check i went to cactus jack being that the say " no credit check and we are honest and we have very dependable cars" hahahahaha my a* anyway i purchased a 03 honda accord coupe 2dr. Very nice car low miles nice dody no damage... My friend was with me and hes pretty knowlegdeable about cars so he said ya this seems like a good used car... So i agreed. I gave him 2800 and drove off the lot i was happy. About 3 weeks later i had problems with the window— (no big deal) so i took it back and they fixed it, again i was happy, but the alarm wasnt working so i was like wtf here we go with a chain reaction. The guy that was fixing the window kept telling me i didnt have a alarm i was like the alarm was on when i dropped it off i checked it twice... So the guy takes it back and they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it... About a week later i looked up on line and saw remote reprogramming so i tried it and it work hahahaha they the machanics but couldnt figure it out... Anyway i was good to go so i thought... At the end of 2 months i noticed my car was acting funny like the gears were stuck in nutral. The car was in drive and i was going like 20 mph but the car wouldnt pick up speed... All of a sudden the car jerks and it picks up... I got kinda scared actually cuz it was exiting off the freeway... So a couple of days passed and i was on my way to work around 5pm and i had to slow down cuz of traffic. When i tried to pck up speed the car wouldnt move i almost got hit by 2 cars... (i built like 3 houses outa mud that day) i was scared... So i called catus jack and spoke with mike and he says it sounds like the tranny take it to allstar tranny on 35th and camelback... So i did and it was the tranny, the 2nd and 3rd gear were slipping. He said it would be like 1200 to fix so i told him i dont have 1200 so he said to call mike back... So i did and he says let me call you back... Meanwhile i was scarred to drive the car and started taking taxis to work and catching rides with co-workers. Which means more money out of my pocket... Finally about a week later he says they cant help because the car was in its 3 month mark and past the warranty... I told him screw the warranty this is the tranny, the drive train we are talking about not brakes, a starter etc... He then tells me come to the shop and il put some fluid in the transmission and it will help for a couple of months till you can get the money... I was like a temporary fix and he said yes... I told him no because it made me feel like thats what they did when i first bought the car. So fed up i said being you donnt wanna help fix your problem i refuse to pay for it. Being that the finace dept kept calling me about the 2 week payment. So i told him your quick to get the money and quick to walk away from fixing this. About 2 weeks later i had got called into work and being i didnt have a way to get there i decided to take a chance and drive slow to work hahhaa didnt happen the repo guy was right behind me... And he said if i could just drive it to the lot so i said sure why not at that point i was done i parked the car and took all my stuff out and the guy looked at me crazy when i gave him the keys. He said why i just want you to talk to them and i told him the story and he said i understand. He was more shcked that a honda would break down quick hahaha... Anyways i was with out a car. About a week later i see the car back on the lot for sale wtf??? And i recieved that they wanted close to 10,000 for the car... I ignored them i figured you have the car back and your quick to put it down as a repo so f it... About 2 weeks after they put it on the lot i seen this guy and girl driving it with temp plate (which means they bought it) and i was like ok sad yes but what could i do... I get my credit report 2 months later and they are charging me almost 10,000 for the car... I thought they were suppose to sell the car at the auction and charge the difference to me... Nope they double dipped... Meaning the sold the car prolly for the same price and still charging me the 10,000.. So i am disputing this because i dont think its fair...
I really dont know what the outcome is going to be after all they see people with bad credit and take advantage of them i dont understand people like that they are suppose to help us out not make it worse...
I hope they get stopped and inspected how many more are they going to do wrong and get away with it... May god have mercy on them...
