Auto Repair Group does not offer a bumper-to-bumperwarranty. Ask them why they call it bumper to bumper and they will tell youthat is just what we call it. The parts that are covered are listed and it isnot bumper-to-bumper. Pay close attention to the verbiage in the contractbecause when you file a claim you will need this to argue with the claimdepartment. We bought this warranty coverage in 2006 and have had nothing but badservice. They will refuse to cover parts, take up to 3-5 days to pay theauto repair shop, and their claim department is extremely rude. They also donot give you a rental vehicle if a repair takes more than 8 hours. The rentalis if the physical repair to the vehicle take 8 hours, not how long it is inthe shop. Because this warranty is not bumper to bumper you will have to fightfor every claim. Sometimes weeks, then they finally say okay we will compriseand cover this part but you have to pay for this item. Often times the part Iam responsible to pay for is the result of the part that is broken in the firstplace. We have filed 4 claims with ARG since 2006 and every repair has taken atleast 1 1/2 weeks to 3 weeks. This is not because of the repair (the repair inevery case was completed in under 2 days) this was because of Auto Repair Grouprefusing to pay for parts, that were clearly covered, or taking 2-4 days to respondto the mechanic to give the okay to do the work.in addition, two times we wereforced to use a mechanic that Auto Repair Group recommended and both times therepair was done wrong or misdiagnosed. This company advertises tested forsafety and web assured, which is very misleading. They list themselves witha company that "appears" as a company that rates the reliability andusability of the company. Once looking further into this you will find thatthese companies are paid for services and one of the ratings is a score that indicateshow reliable the website works. The way that they represent this one wouldthink is the rating with BBB, which by the way they have a D rating and manycomplaints. Again, very misleading. The mechanics we have worked with cannotbelieve some of the stuff that this company is saying and trying to do. Thereare SEVERAL complaints about this company on blogs and there are actually a coupleof individuals trying to start a class suit against thiswarranty/"insurance" company for the same reasons that I havedescribed above. Our warranty is thankfully over in 3 months and we are tryingto save others from making this same mistake. DO NOT USE THEM — there areother warranty companies with better reviews.
