Car 100% worse after coming from the shop paying $475 for nothing!

Ok... I'm pretty pissed right now but here goes:

I noticed my service engine light had come on about 3 weeks ago, and my car was running sorta hard (maybe it was time for a tune-up, afterall, I just rolled over to 60,000 miles), but nothing major. So I decided to take my car to the shop while I had some extra-cash to get it serviced.

Issue #1: I took my car to the shop and they charged me $75 for a diagnostic. Ok cool. They kept my car in their shop for 3 DAYS because they couldn't find anything wrong for the engine light to be on. What the hell? Just read the f*in' machine! So they finally called me back with all this fancy terminology that I couldn't understand, and prices that were outrageous. So (ok, here's my mistake) I told them I couldn't afford anything over $500. Why did I tell them that?

Issue #2: They told me that I needed new lifters for the engine, and this was the root of all my problems, and it would cost me only $1500 (YEAH RIGHT!). So I obviously told them that I couldn't afford that, so they gave me a "plan b" option using alot of extravaggant ways to tell me they'll do a f*ing oil change! So they conveniently charged me as close to $500 as possible ($475.67 to be exact) for a fancy oil change! A "fuel induction service", $210 labor, $227 parts, and a bunch of micellaneous shit! Ok, so whatever, I'm busy, I'm a full time grad student and I work full-time, so I really had no time to even deal with the particulars, as long as my car is fine now, right? WRONG!!!

Issue #3: My car, from the time I started the ignition still in their parking lot, til right now, my 2001 Suzuki Viatara sounds like a f*ing diesel truck! Its so embarrasing! The car takes about 2 - 3 trys for it to start now, when I drive it, it feels like I driving a manual transmission engine because of the way it jerks when I feel the car shifting gears, and it runs even harder than before to the point where it'll cut-off!!! Oh my GOD!!! All of this for a damn service engine light?!?!? But the good news is, they f*ed themselves in my report they gave me. The report clearly states "Customer came in with complaint of service engine soon light" PERIOD. Then the report, after the list of their "repair" and their follow-up notes indicates that "engine ticking noise still present, hopefully over time the noise will get better". They have it in writing themselves that

I

NEVER reported a f*ing noise, they did, and AFTER they "repaired" the car!!!

Issue #4: So I took the car, and thought I'd give it a week or so to see if the noise would get better... Umm NO! Only worse, and worse, and WORSE!!! So I called back up there, and as calmly as I knew how and explained everything. That THEY made my car worse with whatever it was they did to it, and I needed it fixed ASAP! So they told me to bring it in for a new oil change. WTF?!? Is that all they know how to do there?!?! So I asked, didn't you all just do that last week? And he's like "yeah, but we're going to use an extra-premium oil this time" So I told him "clearly you don't expect for me to pay right?" And he's like yeah it'll just be $49.95 plus tax" So I tell him,

I will not f*ing pay again for what's already supposedly been done that obviously made my car worse!!!

So he's like, if the oil change doesn't work, then we won't charge you for that, and we'll just do the lifter replacement and charge you for it". Ok... Of course these idiots are not going to do what works, because they're so set on this $1500 lifter repair that I'm NOT paying for!!! Afterall, I can't give them what I don't have!

Resolution: I called the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint against them. I did this because I know that they will continue to play games with me until they know and understand that I'm serious. They just see me as a young woman who they can get over on, and unfortunately because I don't know much about cars, its somewhat true. Tomorrow I'm going in for this "oil change" and they've already been contacted by the BBB with my complaint, so hopefully it'll go well, but we'll see. Thanks for listening! And by the way:
