Extended Warranty, Bait and Switch?

I purchased a 2005 Ford Explorer just over a year ago. My truck (with only 55k miles) has now been in the shop 3 times for various issues with e-brake cables, sway bar, bushings, brakes, tires, etc. This last occurance, I was told that my extended warranty wouldn't cover the sway bar, even though I do believe it is outlined in the warranty. I am still looking into this.
Speaking of warranty, when I first purchased the vehicle, I was told after a week of driving it, that my financing fell through. (I also work with a girl who had the same thing happen to her) anyways, when all was said and done, they found financing for me but had to "juggle the numbers" a bit. The finance person went over the extended warranty that they were throwing in, outlined in RED marker that I was getting the platinum package and assured me that all would be well as I was a little leary about such a high payment on a 3 year old vehicle. I was told that I should have little to no repair costs because I was getting the PLATINUM PACKAGE. Come to find out, I actually have the Gold Package, not even the Gold Plus Package.
I suppose I learned a lesson not to trust the finance department and actually READ the package they SAY they are giving me, when signing contracts.
Back to service... I picked up my vehicle only to find that the seat adjuster knob had been pulled off. I had Chris in service come out to look at it and he was able to put it back on. However, it's not the same but it does work so I left it at that. After all of this took place, I was asked to give them a call if I needed anything else. I told them to their face that I would NOT. No one seemed to even care. I was already too upset at the fact that the vehicle I just purchased from them 15mos ago, failed inspection for faulty equipment. (and that doesn't include the $640 I spent at a tire store, replacing the tires that had dry rot when I bought them but were nicely armor-alled so this wasn't noticed).
I won't be back and I will make sure that I tell as many people as I can, about my experience. (and my company employs almost 2,000 people, so word of mouth should go far)
