I rented a car in Germany. There was language problems. The contract is in German also. They asked to sign and I did. When I got the car I found a very small dent in the car. I took pictures also. I showed the dent to the attendent and in German/English. He said it is ok and do not worry. When I brought the car back the attnedent made a note and was sent to the office in the terminal. The lady at the termnal called this man and then she checked the records of the dent whether it was present before and noted in the previous contracts and found out it was. She gave me the bill and said i should be charged 237.00 euros. When I got the credit card bill from the citi Credit Card I was charged 652.00. I called budjet and could not talk to any one for no one in the office and they tranfered me from one person to the other. I even filed the billing inquiry electronically through Budjet.com and got the reply that they will reply me in 5 business days. Have not heard form them yet.
Watch when you sign in German. It is an american company and they want to rip us. I would never rent from Budjet any more and advice against renting from them. I paid more price for I thought being an american company i would have beter service.
