Please be aware of fraudulent billing practices by enterprise rent a car. I rented a small truck for one day only. The young man who checked me out in the hackensack, nj rent a car office did not check the vehicle... Gave me the key.
I returned the truck the following day to the fairview office. The person at the desk was nasty and said that there was a small dent in the bumper. I did not see anything. And this'dent' was already there when i picked up the vehicle a day prior? This person took my document (rentla agreement) and shredded it. She said that she had to send this information to the office in hackensack—at loss prevention?
I just received a bill for: $443.18 for 'repair' of the dent that i did not cause! Please be aware of this national scam by this company. They are doing this to other people and i have turned this over to my attorney. I will also go to the press to expose them.
Has this happened to anyone else? I know that this company was sued many times over in 'class action' lawsuits for poor business practices. Run. Go to another car rental company.
